Holly Days milk glass cup
$15.00
I don't know about you, but every December my grandma would pull out a box of holiday dishes that she probably bought with S&H Green Stamps earned at the local grocer. I can still remember her making me a cup of hot chocolate with little marshmallows floating on the top, stirred into a milk glass cup like this. Milk glass was first made in Venice in the 16th century but gained popularity again at the end of the 19th century and then during the Great Depression. This particular pattern, called Holly Days, was only sold in 1985 and 1986.
Whether you're looking to add a little holiday spice to your coffee routine or reminiscing on better times spent with loved ones, these cups are a touching tribute to the winter warmth found in Christmastime with family.
